Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account, submit content, or place an order. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Store use

You may use the website only for lawful personal shopping and communication with us. You may not:

• violate a law, another person's rights, or these Terms;
• submit false information, impersonate another person, or use a payment method without authorization;
• interfere with the website, bypass access or security controls, or introduce harmful code;
• scrape, copy, or use automated systems to access the website except as permitted by law; or
• use our content, products, or services for fraudulent, abusive, or commercially exploitative purposes.

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect customers, RPM Lab Watches, service providers, or the public, or to investigate a violation of these Terms.

Products, pricing, and availability

We try to present product descriptions, photographs, prices, and availability accurately. Screen settings, lighting, material variation, and the hand-assembled nature of custom watches may cause colors, textures, alignment, fit, and finishes to differ slightly from photographs. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes or shipping charges.

Products, components, prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice. We may correct errors, limit quantities, or withdraw an offer before accepting an order. If a correction materially affects an order you already placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option to proceed or cancel.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to purchase. An automated confirmation means we received the order; it does not mean we have accepted it. We accept an order when we begin processing or fulfilling it. We may reject or cancel an order because of suspected fraud, payment failure, inventory or component issues, an incorrect price or description, shipping restrictions, or inability to complete the requested build. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled portion.

You authorize us and our payment provider, Stripe, to charge the payment method you provide for the order total, including taxes and shipping shown at checkout. You are responsible for accurate billing, shipping, and contact information and for charges caused by information you entered incorrectly.

Custom builds and customer instructions

A custom watch is built from the selections, notes, images, and instructions associated with your order. You are responsible for reviewing those details before checkout and responding promptly if we request clarification. Component availability may require a reasonable substitute, but we will ask for approval before making a material change to the agreed design.

Changes or cancellations may not be possible after sourcing, assembly, or customization begins. Any approved change may affect price and timing. We may decline instructions that are unsafe, technically impractical, unlawful, infringing, or inconsistent with our standards.

Shipping, delivery, and returns

Processing and delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, address problems, component availability, and other events outside our reasonable control may affect timing. Please review our Shipping Policy for additional details.

Eligible returns and exchanges are governed by our Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In general, an eligible request must be initiated within 14 days of delivery, and the item must be unworn, show no visible signs of use, and be returned in its original packaging. Customers are responsible for return or exchange shipping costs unless applicable law requires otherwise or we agree otherwise in writing.

Product care, water resistance, and third-party components

Modified watches should be used and cared for according to the instructions provided with the product. Opening and rebuilding a watch can affect its original seals and water resistance. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, do not treat a customized watch as suitable for diving, deep-water use, high-pressure water, or other conditions beyond ordinary everyday exposure.

Our builds may incorporate genuine third-party watches or components. Modification may affect or void an original manufacturer's warranty. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatible or incorporated products; their use does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with RPM Lab Watches.

Reviews, uploads, and other customer content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it and that it is not unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or harmful. For content submitted for public display, such as a review or review photo, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display that content for operating and promoting the store. This license ends when the public content is deleted from our active systems, except for copies we must retain by law or that remain in routine backups until they rotate out.

Private customization files and instructions are used only to evaluate, fulfill, and support your request; they are not licensed for unrelated advertising or public display. We may moderate or remove public content that violates these Terms. Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The website and its original text, graphics, photographs, branding, page designs, and software are owned by RPM Lab Watches or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nontransferable license to access the website for personal, noncommercial use. No other rights are granted.

Disclaimer of warranties

We will honor any written product support commitment we expressly provide and any rights that cannot legally be waived. Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted website access or that every error will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some or all of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights available under applicable consumer-protection law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RPM Lab Watches and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from the website, an order, or a product. Our total liability for a claim involving a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product or order giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, natural disaster, labor disruption, supply shortage, utility or network failure, government action, or widespread service-provider outage. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material effects on accepted orders.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Santa Clara County, California, and each party consents to that venue. This section does not prevent either party from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court or limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.

Before filing a claim, please email support@rpmlabwatches.com with a description of the issue and the resolution you are seeking so we have a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the store, our products, or the law changes. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date. Material changes apply prospectively and will not alter the terms that governed an order accepted before the updated Terms took effect, unless required by law or agreed by you.

General terms

These Terms and the policies linked from them are the entire agreement between you and RPM Lab Watches about the website and your purchase. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
